In this documentary, we outlined why we would like the new Congress and President to address the need for a more diverse educational curriculum. Given the age of global connectedness, we strongly believe that we are in need of a more diverse curriculum so more cultures and histories are recognized in our schooling.

Conducting Early Music

In the middle of any massive philharmonic or symphony orchestra stands a person waving a small stick. He doesn't contribute to any musical sound but somehow manages to lead at times hundreds of musicians. The role and position of the conductor has always been a topic of curiosity in the musical world. But how did conducting first start? In this video, Vice-President and Violinist Calvin Cho takes us through the history of conducting in the early music era to the modern era.

Introduction to Orange County Early Music

Orange County Early Music, also known as OCEM, is a student-run, non-profit organization that strives to develop interest in and appreciation for early music. Our mission is to spread the love of early music and promote the understanding of the subject to Orange County and beyond. Furthermore, we aim to conduct extensive research in the field of early music and perform at a variety of public venues, bringing joy and comfort to our audience through the power of music.

U.S.-NATO Relations

In this video, we address the long lasting roots of the U.S.-NATO relations and how that's been impacting the way we've been approaching foreign policy in Europe.
