I’ve always been a big fan of food.
Born in South Korea, raised in Southern California, and attending school in North Carolina, I often compare and contrast cuisines from East Asia, the West Coast, and the South/East Coast (idk what North Carolina is considered anymore). With this journal poivre (meaning pepper in French), I want to intersect my interests in food and history. I don’t know who’ll be reading this or if anyone will be reading it all. But this blog is for me.
